The word Reiki integrates two characteristics:
Rei – Universal, cosmic energy, source of life.
Ki – Personal life force energy or vitality; the fundamental life force flowing and pulsating in all living things (chi or prana).
Reiki is a Japanese word used to describe universal life force energy. It is a healing art originally known as Usui Reiki Ryoho or Usui Reiki, rediscovered by Dr Mikao Usui in the late 19th century.
Reiki is universal energy and has no connection to religion; it simply requires a willingness to receive and experience the healing energy available to us.
For you the clients, I connect with Reiki energy through meditation, symbols, and mantras, along with the intention for healing for the recipient’s highest well-being prior to starting Reiki. Reiki energy then flows through the practitioner and the palms of the hands, supported by intuitive guidance for the recipient’s highest and greatest good.
Recipients of Reiki are fully clothed during the Reiki process and may prefer to be lying down or seated when receiving Reiki.
Reiki has been known for the following benefits:
- Support the body’s own natural resources
- Strengthening the immune system
- Ease muscle tension
- Sense of Peace
Generally, I offer 60 minutes of Reiki at a time. Although, I am flexible. We can work together to tailor Reiki to your requirements. The number of sessions required is based on your own experience of Reiki and your request.
Distance Reiki is also available for clients wishing to receive Reiki in the comforts of their own home.
I believe Reiki is another form of self-care. It gives us the permission to take time for ourselves to reflect, rejuvenate and heal from the stresses of everyday life.
Main modality is Usui Reiki Ryoho. Although, I also offer Reiki and Seichem healing with Violet Flame embracing the elements of air, water, and fire.
